Darren 8:26 a. m.

El obsesionarme con The Wave Pictures me hizo interesarme por saber en que andaba Darren Hayman, ahora que estos chicos lo acompañaban.
Después de haberse separado Hefner, no le había dado mucha pelota al pobre Darren, el primer disco tenía algún tema agradable, pero no mucho más y del que saco como The French solo vi algún video y antes de que termine ya estaba mirando el de Good Fruit.
Así que sin muchas expectativas de encontrar algo nuevo, entre a la fantástica pagina de Hefner (sin dudas la mejor pagina del planeta) y me entero que efectivamente saco un disco el año pasado. No se si es tan bueno o si esta a la altura de lo mejor de Hefner, pero si se que aún no termine de escucharlo y ya estoy escribiendo esto en lugar de ir a buscar un disco de Hefner. Siempre es bueno saber que Darren sigue ahí, como siempre.

The Wave Pictures 10:12 a. m.

Via commonpeoplemusic me entero de la existencia de la banda londinense The Wave Pictures, quienes también hacen las veces de banda para el gran Darren Hayman. La cosa va de guitarras a lo Hefner tratando de sonar como los Televisión Personalities versionando a The Modern Lovers. El resultado es una especie de Herman Düne punk.
